ILF Awarded Charter Mark

On 1 November the ILF received notification that it has been approved as a Charter Mark holder.

The Charter Mark is a government standard for customer service excellence.  Organisations are assessed based on key criteria to see not only how they deal with service users, but also how they use consultation with users to improve service.

The Chief Executive for the ILF, Elaine Morton, says:

"Charter Mark really reinforces the ILF ethos of the user being at the centre of everything we do.  This is the ILF's first ever external accreditation and serves to highlight the progress that has been made by the whole organisation over the last few years."

She adds:  "This achievement establishes a firm platform on which we can continue to build over the next few years to come."

Achieving the Charter Mark standard is recognised by being awarded the right to display the Charter Mark logo - as shown above.  You will begin to see the Charter Mark sign on letters and publications from us in the near future.
