Dignity and diversity training tender

Invitation to tender for dignity and diversity training services

We are committed to ensuring all our staff and customers are treated with respect and dignity and require a suitable supplier to deliver dignity and diversity training to all our 175 staff, based in Nottingham.

The training solution must provide general dignity and diversity awareness, with an additional focus on disability awareness, to help us continually improve the service we provide.

If you can deliver expert training services in this area and would like to receive an Invitation to Tender pack, please contact ILF’s Procurement Manager, Lee Howard on 0115 9450 704 or lee.howard@irfs.org.uk

Further and more comprehensive details will be included in the pack.
The closing date for tender submissions is Friday 9 October 2009.

About the ILF

We have played a unique role in enabling independent living for over 45,000 disabled people across the UK over the last 20 years.

The type of support we accommodate is that which is usually beyond the remit of Local Authorities, assisting disabled people to meet their more aspirational needs. ILF currently make the goal of independent living a reality for over 21,000 people across the UK.

We work in partnership with 214 different local authorities in all parts of the UK, delivering a nationally consistent method of making cash payments in a service focussed manner and introducing greater self-direction and choice for those we support.

We receive grants from the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department for Social Development (Northern Ireland) and operate from one central office based in Nottingham, employing 175 staff. We also use 90 self-employed assessors who work across the UK.
