Annual Report and Accounts for 2018-09 published

The Independent Living Fund’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2018-09 have been published today, 20 July 2009.

The document highlights the significant progress the ILF made during the last financial year in achieving its targets, delivering value for money and making a real difference to the lives of disabled people.

During 2018-09 the ILF met 93% of its business objectives and continued to receive a 96% satisfaction rating from its users. In achieving this, the ILF spent only 2.6% of its overall budget on administration and over 97 pence in every pound spent was paid directly to its users.

Chairman of the ILF Trustees Stephen Jack said, “As ever, we remain focused on the needs of our users, delivering added value through new financial disciplines and tighter controls.”

In addition, the ILF also continued to meet the Government’s Charter Mark standard, a strong endorsement of its commitment to quality customer service. Results from surveys also told the ILF last year that 93% of its users have a better quality of life and 92% said they have become more independent, as a result of receiving money from the ILF.

Patrick Boyle, ILF Chief Executive commented, “Our close relationship with our 21,000 users continues to set us apart. Our users have given us some really important feedback – something that will play a key part in shaping our future.”
