We have a range of 22 information leaflets that give comprehensive guidance about the ILF - from the basics of making an application to what to do if you need more care. They also cover employment issues and what to expect when we revisit you. Please note that our information leaflets are currently being updated to reflect recent changes to our policies. Up to date versions will be available by June 2009.

We also have an easy-to-read guide which is a shortened version of our full information pack. The easy-to-read guide also carries the Crystal Mark which means is has been approved by the Plain English Campaign.
We have spent a lot of time developing the leaflets, taking advice from Mencap's Accessibility Unit and other organisations to try and make the information clear, concise and accessible. We have used consultation with ILF users and other interested people to develop the leaflets and have tried to incorporate their ideas.
